The production yield calculations used in the Eturnity Platform are rather conservative. They are based on databases provided by the European Commission’s science and knowledge service (PVGIS). In the simulation, the solar production profile (in a temporal resolution of 15 min) at the specific location, the inclination and the orientation of the PV modules are considered. If you prefer to use higher or lower production yields in your projects, you have the option in Eturnity Solar Expert to manually overwrite the specific annual yield (kWh/kWp) of the system. The performance reduction of the PV modules, i.e., the decrease in output, is considered with a default value.
