1. Plan PV project and transfer to ESDEC
After planning your PV project in the usual way, click on ESDEC Calculator at the bottom left of the project menu. Here you select the project variant to be transferred to ESDEC. Now complete all mandatory fields. In the case of several roofs, you can transfer the setting from roof 1 to other roofs (button Based on roof 1) or make individual configurations. Once you have filled in all the fields, click on the Generate mounting system button.
2. Import bill of materials
As soon as processing is complete, the generated parts list is displayed. The bill of material is divided into two sections: Into components that are not created in your library and existing components.
You can define a purchase discount and margin for the non-existent components. Depending on the country, you must define an exchange rate, as the prices specified by ESDEC are not available in all currencies.
You can then import the parts list and, if necessary, have the non-existent components added to your library.
3. Collective position in the bill of material
The imported bill of materials from the ESDEC calculator is created as a collective position in the mounting sytem section. You can define whether this item should be displayed in detail on the quotation or not.
4. Documents in the file manager
The ESDEC documentation for your project-specific mounting system is stored in the file manager.
