How does the financing process work with Bullfinch?

With the integration of Bullfinch as a financing provider for Germany, you can now offer your customers the option to easily finance their solar systems. This guide outlines the steps to set up a connection with Bullfinch and create a financing offer. We recommend reading this guide in full to ensure you are informed of all relevant factors and the additional customer data requirements.


Connect to Bullfinch:

1. Create a Connection with Bullfinch for your company

  • As a company admin, open the Partner Network section within the Settings menu.
  • Search for Financing Provider Bullfinch in the table and click on the "Subscribe" button.
  • Bullfinch will contact you directly to clarify the necessary details.

2. Approval by Bullfinch

  • Once Bullfinch has all the required information, they will approve your request.
  • You will be notified when the connection becomes active.

Use Bullfinch within a project:

1. Select Bullfinch as a Provider

  • Navigate to the Financing Page on project level.
  • Select Bullfinch as financing option from the drop down menu.

2. Coordinate with the End Customer

  • Discuss with your customer how much equity capital they would like to invest and the desired contract duration.
  • Enter these values into the system and click Save.

3. Simulate the Project & Send the Offer

  • Simulate the project.
  • Attach the Bullfinch PDF page to the document, generate it and send the offer to your customer. The Bullfinch PDF page will include an indicative financing offer based on your project configuration.

4. Initiate the Credit Check

  • Once all project details are finalized, you and your customer have agreed on the project and the customer wants to receive the contract details from Bullfinch, return to the Financing Page and click on the "Initiate Credit Check" button.
  • Add the necessary details (if not already done), including the customer’s birth date, IBAN, construction year of the building, phone number and answer the questions.
  • Important: This process can only be initiated once per customer. Ensure that all details are accurate before proceeding.

5. Credit Check and Notification

  • The credit check typically takes only a few minutes.
  • Once the credit check is complete, the project manager will receive an email notification and the financing status will be updated.

6. Finalize the Contract

  • Proceed by generating the financing documents using the "Finalize financing contract" button. Bullfinch will send the offer directly to the customer via email.
  • After the customer and Bullfinch sign the contract, the project manager will receive a confirmation email and the financing status will be updated on the financing page.


Additional Notes

  • One Request Per Customer: Only one financing request can be created per customer.
  • Component Limitations: Bullfinch supports only specific components. A detailed list of supported components can be found at the end of this page. No limitations apply to technologies not listed.
  • Only projects based on 3D layouting can be used
